OVERSEAS APPLICANTS
Employment
If you are a European Economic Area national (EEA) you are allowed to work in the United Kingdom without a work permit. If you are the spouse or child of an EEA national living in the United Kingdom, you can also work in this country.
In order to work freely in the United Kingdom, candidates must be a member of the European Economic Area (EEA) or have obtained a valid work visa.
Permanent work visas in the United Kingdom are difficult to obtain and can take several months to process. Therefore, it is our policy not to work with candidates from overseas unless they are able to show proof of membership of an EEA country or, alternatively, have obtained a valid UK work visa.
The countries included in the EEA are as follows:
Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
